Winter Wonderland @ Al Maryah Island
The Galleria on Al Maryah Island will be transformed into a winter wonderland this Christmas. And the festive fun kicks off with an awesome tree-lighting ceremony on December 13, which is open for everyone to attend. From December 13 to 26, the island’s waterfront promenade and The Galleria will be full of Christmas cheer, with festive holiday décor, fun family friendly activities, holiday shopping and themed dining options.
Festive Season @ The Mall
The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is staking a claim to be the ultimate place to enjoy the festive season this year. The retail hub has a string of great Christmas offerings this year, ensuring there’s something for all the family to do, see and eat. Throughout December, it is being transformed into a festive wonderland, complete with grand hanging baubles, decorated glittery arches and winter garlands. It will also host a Santa’s Grotto, where kids can tell the jolly man in the red suit whether they’ve been naughty or nice and hand over their wish list in person. Meanwhile, there will also be stilt walkers giving away candy canes and posing for photos. Swiss Christmas Market
Run by the Swiss Business Council, this annual event is a showcase for local crafters to show their goods. The market features dozens of little Swiss chalets to give a European market feel. Expect evening carol singing and lots of festive food and drink!
