Ramadan is a significant month in the Islamic calendar and, in Abu Dhabi, the period is marked by a host of Ramadan-related activities.

Emirati hospitality and traditions are also very evident during this month as iftars are hosted across Abu Dhabi and residents of different nationalities come together to share the spirit of Ramadan. The Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority organises numerous events during the month and the retail sector witnesses brisk business. Based on the directives of the Family Development Foundation, the events is hosted to support families activate the holy month of Ramadan by preserving family values and culture.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The visiting hours during the month of Ramadan are from 9 am to 1 pm, from Saturday to Thursday. (Last admission at 12:30 am). General tours starts at 10am and 11am and the tour durati
on is 45 – 60 minutes. The Mosque does not open its doors for visitors on Fridays during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Mall @ World  Trade Center Abu Dhabi (WTCAD)
Is offering you a chance to share your talent with everyone! Participate in the lamp-making workshops, where mentors will help you create beautiful lamps, which will be used as decorations in The Mall for Ramadan.
Thursday 4th May-Saturday 17th, every Thurs, Fri and Sat.

Ramadan @ Bawabat Al Sharq Mall
Bawabat Al Sharq Mall offers events and activities that are specially curated to uphold the spirit of The Year of Giving as well as promote the lustrous Emirati culture, by combining shopping, heritage activities and charity initiatives.

UAE Pavilion in Ramadan and Eid Shopping Festival is one of the consumers favourite annual exhibition that showcases everything the family want to have. The event combines a mixture of  traditional celebrations, shopping, Arabic food, and games.

Ramadan Night Market @ Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC)
Ramadan Night Market returns this Ramadan and Eid to offer fun, frolic, family time and loads of shopping with irresistible offers for you and your loved ones’ Eid gifting requirements. Ramadan Night Market is an annual event featuring products and brands from around the region. Shop till you drop while your kids have a ball at the Ramadan Night Market’s very own Kids Play Area which is fully equipped to handle the naughtiest of your little ones!

This Pop Up Market garantees a Friday night with amazingly unique finds from a select 30+ UAE homegrown vendors. Al Seef Mall will also be offering a wide range of Iftar options along with grubs for late night cravings (Emirati, middle eastern, western and unique dessert spots).
